Re: birth plan
My birth plan is as follows go into labor go to hospital get epidural (and whatever other drugs they're willing to give me) wait until they tell me to push
That's about it.

Re: birth plan
someone posted one not too long ago and it was pretty good and had some things that you wouldn't think of.

Re: birth plan
So you're supposed to write it down? I thought they just meant discuss it with your doctor. How do you make one?

Re: birth plan
I had one but didn't use it. Once I got to the hospital the staff took over and I just followed along not knowing any better. At the time I didn't care so much because I think I was somewhat in shock and confused and just wanted it to be over. Looking back on the experience, I wish I had more input and was given more freedom to do what I wanted (within reason). I felt like the birth was something that happened to me rather than something I did. Talk with your OB beforehand.
