Re: Birthday party HELP

What town?

My nephew just turned 7 and he (and ALL his friends) have had b-day parties at Laser Tag places.

Oh, and last year my nephew was talking about having his bday party at Dave & Busters! Chat Icon

DS is having his 5th at his karate school. We've been to a classmate's party at a slot car racetrack, in Oakdale. About 20 kids, two tracks, 8 or so cars per track. Kids had a ball.

Depending on the town, we've done/been to:

Movie theater parties (we only had to pay for the kids, parents were free!)
Sports parties
Gym parties
Beach parties
Karate parties (one price, UNLIMITED KIDS)

and this year for a 7th birthday we're doing Lazer Kingdom. All participants must be 5 & over.

My nephew had his birthday party at
http://rockymountainminingcompany.com/

The Rocky Mountain Mining Comany and the kids had a blast- It was so different- The place is set up to look like the old west with a saloon with a Root Beer fountain and they mine for fossils or gems depending on what birthday package you pick...It is really hidden, you would never know it was there (Its in Bohemia)...Just so you know, sometimes it can be hard to get a hold of them by phone (best bet is probably on the week-ends if shes interested )...HTH !!!!

To be honest, I have no idea where I found out about it (must have been in one of those local parent papers) ...Its really neat- They also will take an old fashion picture of all the kids (at an add'tl charge) dressed in the old time garb and give those out at the end...My SIL ordered cowboy boot goody holders and did the whole theme...

Re: Birthday party HELP

My cousin who just turned 6 had some kind of astronaut/space party. They live up in Westchester and it seems to be all the rage up there because it's some kind of space training kid's party place.

I got all the dirt from my cousin so he really didn't know what it was called, just that it had to do with space and astronauts...lol. It sounds like a cool idea.

But as far as something local my other cousin was obsessed over the pump it up party he was going to.
