Re: birthday party opinion
Probably after 5th grade we'll stop the organized parties and just have a few kids over and do cake and video games or something.

Re: birthday party opinion
I think after about 12.
But my parents always took about 5 of my friends out to dinner with us, um, well, until I got married

I don't think so.
At 10 I'd take a few friends out to play laser tag & maybe invite them over for cake with the family.
Sorry - to answer your original question - I'll probably always invite a few friends over for my kid's birthday party. Even if it's when they're older & it's just a girlfriend/boyfriend coming over.

So does my 7 year old. I don't want to invite 30 kids though

Re: birthday party opinion
I had actual birthday parties every year up to 13.
After that it was just cake at my house with family, but since my family is so small and I'm an only child I generally had a couple of friends over too.
