Birthday party thank you
DD and DS had a birthday party last month for a classmate. We gave a joint present. We got the thank you card today - and it just said "thanks for coming to the party, hope you had a good time". No thank you for the gift. Would you assume they just got the gift and didn't like it or it got lost someplace?? Would you say something? This is just another mom in the class, I really don't know her too well.

I would just assume they were lazy and wrote the mimimum. Either that or the chaos with opening gifts didn't know who got what. JMO

that's tough, even if they didn't know what you gave they should have said "thank you for your generous gift" or something to that effect.
Not sure what I would do.
