Birthing/lamaze classes

When do you that the birthing/lamaze classes? I am afraid that they get booked really fast, so I want to make sure I get that done before it's too late. I know, I'm only 4 months...but I wanted to plan in advance

I called LIJ last month to ask the same question. They told me that they want couples to have FINISHED the class one month before the due date. I assume that is in case the mother goes into labor early, that she is prepared. I thought that was a good idea. They also told us when to send in the registration form so we can assure ourselves that we get the dates that we want. I would call where you plan on taking the class and ask whoever runs the program.

we completed our four week series in january and february. i am due april 7th. i thought that was good timing (would have been early enough if i had gone into labor early, but not so long ago that i forgot everything).
