Biter the fish...
I know this is not the biggest deal in the world, in the grand scheme of things, but on Saturday Biter, our 1 fish died!
He was about 4 years old, quite the survivor. At one point he was sucked up against the filter, DH wanted to flush him and I told him he couldn't because he was still breathing. We knocked him off and he lived for another 2 years!!!!
Now my cat Luce has nobody to bother!
I cried Friday night as he was in the process of dying... probably assisted by my hormones as I am pregnant!
In any event, here's to Biter, a great old fish!!!!

 I'm so sorry. I too understand completely how you feel. I've cried many times over my fish. It's amazing how long some fish can live. I've had Goldfish that have lived 5+ years.
