Bitter sweet kinda of a day
Well I did it. After nursing for a year (almost DS will be one year old on the 24th) he is fully weaned. I got the OK from the Ped to give him milk and start to wean at 11 months. Mostly he did very well. I am happy that we are done but part of me will miss the bonding experience with DS. I had to go back to work when he was 10 weeks old and it was not easy but we continued on and made it the full year. Everyday seems like more and more of a reminder that my baby is not a baby anymore.
