Black and Brown- does it go together?
Yay or nay?
Can you pair a brown top and brown shoes with black pants or a skirt?
I have this mental block when it comes to pairing black and brown together- I always felt like it didn't "go".
But I know it probably does and I just have some kind of hang up.
So what are you thoughts on that combo?

I wear black dress pants, black shoes, and a brown top (with white tank underneath) ALL the time! Same for black pants & shoes with navy top and white tank underneath.
I don't know if that's "wrong" or not - but I like how it looks so I wear it!
I don't love black pants with brown shoes though - even if they match the top.

my understanding is that black goes with all and that includes brown.
I have done it too.
I know for some, they just dont combine it.

I wish I can do it....but I cant. LOL
I cant wear black pants w/ brown shoes and I cant wear black shoes w/ brown pants....... Thats why I have a lot of shoes in lotsa colors.......

I'm not opposed to Black and Brown together. It all depends on what and how it's put together.
Then again, I'm not exactly known for following fashion rules.

I would definately wear it but I would never match it w/top and shoe..
Ie: brown top w/black pants & black shoes.. I hate brown top w/matchy brown shoes.. unless its jeans in the middle.. of course..
