Black bugs in my pasta boxes!!!
Will someone please tell me what these black bug things are in all my boxes of pasta? I had to trash everything in my cabinets last night??!!!

Put bay leaves in your grain containers and flour.
Those are grain weevils. I had them in my Pastina until SuperKat told me what to do.

amazing! i always wondered about this.
I thought it was from leaving them in your cabinets for too long. is that true?
my mother used to get these all the time, i don't.
bay leaves? where, do you open the box of pasta and put into a rubbermaid, then put the bay leaf in?

 I had this problem too.. it was in the dog food and pasta YUCK. I cleaned out the pantry with bleach and all and put the dog food in the garage.. they havent been back since

Actually, you really should contact the store you bought them from because many times they come their shelves and they need to know so they can clean their shelves off. I only buy pasta in plastic now.
