Black Eyed Susans
I love these flowers and would like to plant some at my house. Where can I get some good seed? When is the best time to plant them (I am in NC if that matters)? Any tips or pointers? Thanks.

do you mean black eyed susans? i would think any garden place may have the seeds.. check locally.

You can also buy them in the pot at the garden centers. They will really multiply by next year. Much easier than messing with seeds IMO.

You're going to start seeing end-of-season sales at the independent nurseries soon. Black Eyed Susans are so common that you could probably find a 1 quart containter for less than $10.
Garden Depot in Coram has them for $9.99 for a 1 quart and $12.99 for a 3 quart. I don't know if they run sales or coupons though.
