Black tie
What do you think that means for women? What colors are acceptable and lengths?
I was told something today and I was kinda  so I wanted to see the general consensus.

That means a formal long dress for the ladies. It doesn't have to be black but stick with your dark colors. And wear some nice jewelry.

a tea-legnth dress or longer. I have always stuck to a black dress or at least darker colors however Ive seen women wear any color (teal, yellow, red) for a black tie wedding.
