I have a wedding in october in Manhattan which is black tie...does that mean i have to wear a long dress?

Ugh. I really don't like long gowns (mostly because i'm petite), but i started to look online..at nordtrom, bloomies and lord and taylor and there is hardly any selection of gowns at all!!!!

Having just gone through this myself recently, yes a long gown, especially if its the Plaza!
Nordstroms online had a lot of long dresses, and i believe as the weather changes you should start seeing more as well

Bloomingdales in Soho has a great selection of dresses
