Blake Lively Pregnant, Expecting Second Child With Husband Ryan Reynolds
No. 2! Blake Lively is pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
The Gossip Girl alum, 28, was spotted on set of her upcoming film The Shallows showing off her baby bump in a fitted wet suit.
Lively gave birth to her first child, James, in December 2014.
The actress and Deadpool actor, 39, kept mum about their baby girl, only revealing her birthdate a year later on her first birthday.
"Happy birthday to my baby girl!" Reynolds tweeted on at the time, jokingly adding: "Sad I lost my virginity. But thankful I have a daughter."
"Everything is different,” Lively previously said of becoming a mom on Live! With Kelly and Michael in April 2015. “You see a balcony and you're like, 'Oh God, the hotel needs to demolish this balcony because my child can't go anywhere near it.' So, everything is just like, so much more heightened. We're crying all the time for no reason."
The pair have been vocal about learning to be good parents as they go. Reynolds got flack from some after he shared a photo holding James improperly in a carrier.
“I’m a first-time dad, and that is not the first mistake I’ve made, and I can guarantee it won’t be the last,” the Green Lantern actor acknowledged during an interview on the Today show in July 2015.
Lively and Reynolds married in September 2012.
