blegh - new person ranting
so i'm frustrated. fh and i would like to ttc shortly after getting married this summer so i'd like to have everything in order. unfortunately i haven't gotten my period since feb! i went off bc in aug. (i believe) and my cycles were pretty regular which i was really happy about (they weren't so regular before the pill - i have a history of skipping occasionally) but then they got a little father apart and then i just didn't get one in march, or april, and now it's may... as i said it's not unusual for this to happen to be, but it's still annoying. the most frustrating part, however, is finding a decent doctor! the one i went to said "oh, don't worry about it" and sent me on my way w/o even taking a preg. test or any other standard labs (urine, etc.) (i'm not preg. - took 4 of my own tests, but still...) and now every doctor that's been recommended to me isn't taking new patients... i just want to get this all figured out before my wedding - and i know the added stress isn't helping me, but i can't stop stressing over this. on top of that i feel like crap (prob. because of the lack of period) and am worried that not only do i have the chance of getting af on my wedding day - but 4 months of af and cramping on my wedding day! and this whole thing has gotten me worried about the ttc process and fh too. i sorta feel like a failure before we've even begun - which i know is a stupid thing to say and probably just the irregular hormones talking (i hope...)
sorry for the pointless rant.... blegh. on the bright side, tomorrow's friday.

I'm sure a lot of girls on here would share their dr. with you. Where are you looking?

I would seek out an RE if your insurance allows it. Your story sounds almost identical to mine.

heh, right now i would settle for general practitioner... it took me almost all year just to find a decent dentist! (first one i went to told me i had 8 cavities that needed drilling right away but he didn't take my insurance so it's be $200-300 each plus another $200 for x-rays. turned him down and eventually found another one - went in expecting 3 rootcanals from the way the last guy described it and the new guy looks at me and goes "who told you you have cavities? your teeth are perfect!" awesome...) i have AWFUL luck at this.
