Bless the person who invented the sling!!!
DS has been cranky & miserable for a few days..........I have been leaning towards gassiness from not burping much (hence my Mylicon post last night!!).........well this morning all he wanted was to be held or he would cry the second I put him down. Even if he was sound asleep on my shoulder, he would wail as soon as he was out of my arms
WELL......I put him in the sling around 11:45am......HE CONKED OUT 2 MINUTES LATER!!!! So I cleaned up the kitchen, put in laundry, opened my mail........then decided to sit down. He stayed sleeping, so I GENTLY removed the sling with him still in it & layed him in the sling on the couch next to me!!! STILL SLEEPING!!!! YAY!!
WENDY BELLISSIMO BLUE CAMO SLING
He does hang a little low & is sort of squishy in it.....but he LIKES that!! But even if it will sooth him enough like today, I will take it!! I think though that I will need to get a GOOD sling with better back support for me.......

I had the Infantimo (sorry, not sure I spelled it right) sling and it was a lifesaver when DS was a newborn. Frees up both hands so you can get so much done! You can find them at TJ Maxx sometimes for $19.99. They are more expensive at BRU and BBB.

I am on the tall side & it does hang low on me too.
I am going to look for something like the Hotsling maybe for being out & about.
But for home......it relaxes him quickly it seems, so I can deal with the lowness for a bit!

You probably need a smaller size. There are a lot of different brands out there. I have been very happy with my Lucky Baby Slings and I know a lot of moms like the Hot Sling.
