Blighted Ovum
This is not for me, but what is a blighted ovum? Can you see the heartbeat, and then be told the following week or two that there is no heartbeat, and this be called a blighted ovum? From what I am reading, no, but just wanted to know if anyone had any other information. Thank you and best of luck to everyone

I had this happen with my first pregnancy but there never was a heartbeat. Basically the fetus never develops usually due to extreme chromosomal problems. I had Trisomy 13- she never had a chance
