I have been to Block Island several times.
Ive always stayed at Champlin's Marina because we had the boat there (not the BEST place, but we had the boat...)
This site is a good source to help you.
We went parasailing, banana boating, and horseback riding.
You can rent bikes, but we walked everywhere.
Ballard's is good for casual dining and on the above site, any of the "fine dining" places under dining are good. Ive eaten at most of them.
There is also on little salon place that I got a pedicure as well.

I love it there. We're going July 31st fot 4 nights. This time we're going to stay at the Manissess Inn. Stayed at Harborside and the National in the past. Know that nothing is "luxury" there, its a very casual beach community, very relaxing!

My DH and I are going Monday-Wed for our anniversary! We are staying at the Springhouse Hotel, and are hoping that it will be a great time!!
