blood work
I just got a call from my RE office and they said my thyroid level was high meaning my thyroid is slow meaning hypothyroidism. this could be why i haven't been able to concieve your thyroid regulates your hormone levels! Anyone have this?

I dont have this but wanted to offer  . Sometimes I wish it did because it would explain alot, including my fat arse. 
BUt seriously. What are they going to do about it?

I have it....
Was diasgnosed by the RE actually a well.
I was put on Synthroid and it regulated my thyroid.
Unfortunatly after a while, it still didnt help us conceive...but you would need med's if you did get PG to make your thyroid function better as it slows even MORE during Pregnancy...

I suffer from hypothyroidism and was given Synthroid. I have a lot more energy now that I am on it. Because I have other IF issues, not sure how this truly affects my fertility.
It was also discovered that I am auto-immune to my hypothryoid, which is aka Hashimotos Disease. Having autoimmune issues can be a reason for implantation failures. YOur body will confuse your healthy cells as bad cells and could prevent implantation.
Auto-Immune testing is controversial in the IF world and I am not sure if your RE advocates it but there are also other panels of bloodwork for other auto-immune issues. Usually the fact that you might be auto-immune to your thyroid is an indicator that you might have other auto-immune issues.
Your doctor will most likely give you synthroid and your TSH levels should be between .5-2.5. Like Donna mentioned, once you are pregnant, they will increase your dosage.
