Bloodwork Results: TSH ?
I went for blood work at 5 DPO (couldn't do 7 DPO bc I was on vacation). My progesterone was 15 and my TSH was .547. It says the average ranges is .45-4.5 but mine is low average. My doc said it was fine, but could this be why im having trouble getting pg. Thyroid problems run in my family. My mom has been battling them for years.
Thanks!

Re: Bloodwork Results: TSH ?
My thyroid at various times has been under-active, but before I got pregnant, it was never off enough for a doctor to put me on medication and often it corrected itself on its own. And at a physical while TTC, supposedly my levels were completely normal, but TTC did take awhile - not quite sure why - and once I was pregnant, I told my OB about my propensity to thyroid issues and so we checked them, and sure enough, it was under-active then (not sure if it was the pregnancy that put me under or if it had become under-active sometime after my physical but before my pregnancy) so he put me on synthroid - one pill, once a day, no side effects, very easy solution and things have been going well in my pregnancy. I have heard that thyroid issues could cause fertility problems so it's certainly worth considering. Good luck!
