blotchy red spots under my skin on my leg...

so on my left leg only, on the shin above the ankle, I have what looks like a rash...

it's blotchy and red and spotty...but it's totally UNDER the skin, nothing's raised or bumpy, and it's not itchy...

but it's sore to the touch.


anyone else experience something like this??? Is this something I should worry about?

I don't know if that's what varicose veins look like, or if you can see blood clots, but that's basically what my mind is ranging through...I'm hoping it's nothing bad...
