BM paint samples...
Hi everyone!
FH and I closed on our house on Friday and we began our search for paint colors. We are working with a blank slate bc the house is brand new...However, I think we went a little crazy yesterday testing the paint out lol. We have paint squares everywhere !!! When we go to actually paint will we just have to spackel where we tested paint or is it best to spackel the entire wall? FH said that a friend of his told him that if he doesn't spackel the entire wall you will be able to see the patch where it was spackeled. We are very inexperienced with this so please help !!!
I guess we are no longer working with a blank slate ooppss !

Re: BM paint samples...
You don't need to spackle at all. Just use primer to paint over your paint squares first.
In the furture, I would suggest buying a piece of foamcore and some foam brushes. This way you can get mulitple colors on the board and walk them around from room to room so you can see what the colors look like in different lights and if colors go together. That's what we did and it made it so much easier then having to worry about painting over the colored samples.
