Boat Owners

Is it legal to "park " your boat on a residential street or is it supposed to be stored on your property?

Re: Boat Owners

I only ask because my neighbors across the street, fix boats at the house and then put them up for sale, but leave them in the street right across from my driveway, and sometimes it is a bit difficult for me to get out

Re: Boat Owners

On your property - but NOT in the front yard - or side front yard. Has to be in the back. Neighbors can call the town and complain if its in the front and the town will make you move it. Such a pain in the neck. That's why we store ours away from our house.

Wow, I never knew this. My dad always used to store it in the side front yard.

Some towns are more strict with enforing it than others. PLus Ive only found it to really be an issue if a neighbor complains.

Re: Boat Owners

We had it in our driveway and never had a problem.
