Bobby Flay's Restaurant -- Bolo

Has anyone been, and what are your thoughts? DH and I are going tomorrow. Any suggestions?

I went once. Even though I love Bobby Flay-I thought it was an overpriced BBQ.

So it really wasn't spanish style like they say? I know that Mesa Grill has a lot of BBQ, but I thought this one was different.

We love Bobby Flay too and plan on going to Mesa Grill in two weeks.

I wouldn't say it was bad, it was good but I felt ripped off. The prices were just too much for what I was served.

It is spanish style..but I found it to be more southwest and still had elements of BBQ.

Maybe it's different. Lord knows it's hard to get a reservation.

Bolo is over here on 22nd st, right? It's where I work- i've eaten there a few times and I really like it. Of course the sangria is really good (not that you'll be drinking) and the tapas-styled desserts are GREAT

Yes, it's the one on 22nd. Thanks for the review!!! I can't wait for the tapas. And, I *think* I might have a glass of wine...we'll have to go back when I can enjoy the SangriasChat Icon

I never heard of Bolo. Is it the same style food as La Mesa? The food at LA Mesa was awsome!!

I've never been, but if it is like Mesa Grill, it will be good. DH and I went to Mesa for Restaurant Week and it was excellent!
