Body adjusting after going off the pill...
OK so it is now 34 days after I got my last period and finished taking the pill in order to TTC. No sign of AF at all. I prematurely took a test to see "what if" even though I knew it was a long shot and no dice. My body has been nothing but crampy and achy. My back hurts and I NEVER had back pain in my life. I am sure this is just my body adjusting to the various hormonal changes but it is rather uncomfy. Did anyone else go through this or anything like it? Sorry to complain. Just not use to this as I never cramped on the pill.

Re: Body adjusting after going off the pill...
I have been experiencing pains since going off the pill too. Basically from the time I O until AF ends, I experience some sort of cramping most days. Before I went on BCP, I really only had cramping one day of my cycle.
I really had no idea when I went on BCP that going off of it would be such a physical adjustment. I just started my 4th cycle since coming off. I hope this one goes better.

Re: Body adjusting after going off the pill...
Thanks!
Well it looks as if AF started making her appearance this AM (sorry if TMI) and I am certainly not as achy this mornign as I had been in days past. I guess on some level I am relieved that I didnt have to wait longer for it to come. I guess all of what I was experiencing was PMS.
Now when exactly do I start counting days? Do I count today if my flow gets heavy in the afternoon or do I start tomorrow? any info would be helpful. Thanks and again, sorry if TMI but right now I am new at this.

Day one is first day of regular flow, not spotting.

Re: Body adjusting after going off the pill...
It took me 66 days to get AF. I have cramps several times along the way. I thought for sure AF would come...then she didn't. Now I am on cycle 2 so we will see when she shows up!

I went off and got my period almost two weeks early. Its been almost a full month and we'll see if AF comes on time. Hoping I get regular soon. Oh, and the cramps were much, much worse.

I just went off of BC too and I am on day 35 and no sign of AF. I had some cramps the other day and that was it.

Yes, once I went off the pill my body went wild. Cramping beyond belief (I hadn't experienced cramps while on the BCP) and lots of other fun adjustments (like oily hair and break outs). But, this only lasted the first couple of months.

My spotting turned into regular flow. I guess today is day one. I tell you I did not miss this at all. I wish I could just pop them (kids)all out and be done with this period thing altogether!
Then again I just learned today that the co-payment on BCPs at my work place nearly doubled. Someone asked me what I paid and I said "nothing." It was a nice feeling!
