I felt the same way-- I started alternating olive and coconut oil. Skin feels much better!

I use palmer's cocoa butter. I smell a little like a chocolate factory but it's the only thing that really works on my body this time of year. so thick. Except doesn't work on my hands. My hands are cracked and bleeding no matter what I do or how many nights of lotion+gloves I endure.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the shower lathered on with a thick sponge.
Be careful on your feet though - it gets quite slippery!
It's the best - great for hair too.
