Bon Jovi Concert at MSG???
I'm not a huge Bon Jovi fan but DH is and wants us to go see them at MSG on July 14th. I'll be just about 21 weeks then. Any thoughts on if this is something I should/could do?

Re: Bon Jovi Concert at MSG???
I was worried about the noise, especially because it's an indoors and there is no place for the sound to go. Hmmm....

Re: Bon Jovi Concert at MSG???
My honest opinion is that it is probably totally fine, but I am a bit neurotic and probably wouldn't go. Loud noises can startle a baby, so I would be worried the whole time and probably wouldn't enjoy myself. That said, I really have never heard that you should avoid concerts while pregnant.

Re: Bon Jovi Concert at MSG???
I went to a number of concerts while pregnant up until I was around 8 months pregnant. NOTHING wrong with it. Enjoy!

Um, are you afraid the baby is going to become an aging 80's rocker w/ botox? Or is it something else?

I'm going to Pearl Jam on Friday (19 weeks) and Billy Joel in mid-July (22 weeks). I think it's totally fine!

Im going to see the Police at Jones Beach 3 weeks before my due date and you couldn't stop me. May take a while for me to climb some steps, but I'll get there.

Re: Bon Jovi Concert at MSG???
Turns out the concert is sold out anyway. Silly hubby!!
I just found out that my good friends daughter who was born on 5/19 is deaf so I guess I'm just overly nervous. Her condition has nothing to do with anything that happened in utereo. I'm just being crazy.

That's so funny! I am going to see Bon Jovi on the 14th and Billy Joel at Shea on the 16th & 18th. I'll be 7 1/2 months. I'm so excited though!
