Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

Does anyone know how long it takes to make these? Someone told me an hour for each one...how can it take so long?

Here's a pic

Re: Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

Are you sewing it? We got one as a favor at a shower and it was hot glued. There is no way it took an hour!

Re: Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

I think the instructions said to fold the washcloth and just use a rubberband around it! I cant see how that takes an hour! LOL

Re: Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

My Mom made a ton of them for my shower and she used rubber bands and it didn't take her long at all. I think it took longer for the hot glue gun to warm up. The first one is PITA but once you know how to do it then the rest are a snap!

Re: Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

I'm contemplating ordering them online instead because I found someone who will make them for $1.19 each and they look really cute!

You really can make them yourself for much less $. They are really easy.

Re: Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

Just wanted to add- it depends how many you need- if you are only ordering 20 or so it may be easier just to order them instead of buying all the stuff, etc. which would cost that much anyway.

We need about 30 so that's why I was thinking it would be easier to order them, it would cost $43 total including shipping for the 30 bunnies...and save a whole lotta time. What do you guys think?

Here is one set of directions - I would modify it to make them cuter though like the one I posted above.http://www.getcreativeshow.com/Crafting_Sewing_Conference_Center/craft_sewing_seminars/boo_boo_bunny.htm

Re: Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

Can I ask a dumb question?... How do you put ice in it, or do you just wet and freeze? Those look really cute, but I am trying to figure out how it works! TIA

Re: Boo Boo Bunnies - Question

The ice goes in the back of the Bunny - there is a space there for it.

I found REALLY cute ones online - a woman on Yahoo sells them. They are only $1.19 each and that includes the plastic ice balls that you freeze and put in the bunny. It also includs the bunny wrapped in celephane and a tag with a poem and your name/date of shower on it. She is sending me a pic today, I will pass it on when I get it.
