Re: Book Clubs

There are some LIFers who meet for book discussion. I was going to go once but something came up. The book was pretty good, too.

Re: Book Clubs

I was a member of QPBC and Zooba for a while. I quit both because I have such a huge collection of books I haven't read yet and was tired of having to respond to QPBC.

The service on both accounts was good. Zooba was good for cheap books, but their selection was not as great.

In that case...I used to do Paperback Boock Club. it's OK, but you end up with a TON of books, so as long as you have the room (or someone to give them to when you're done). Also, new books weren't coming out frequently enough for me so I would go to B&N anyway.

I also did www.booksfree.com, where you pay per month and get books by mail...like netflix. I did two at a time and now i have no time to read so it wasn't paying off and I stopped. However, I really did like it and back when I read 2 books a week, it would have been perfect!

Re: Book Clubs

For 1 book it is around $3.99. I just ordered a set of 3 books and another separate one and shipping was $6.49. But I have earned a ton of points so I save a lot of money that way.
