Booster (Car) Seat question
We had an extra carseat DH's car, but Anjali is out of the infant carrier so we use both carseats in my car now. I'd like to put a carseat in DH's car again, thinking of going to a booster now for Lyla.
I searched some old posts about booster seats but I'm still confused. One post had the NHTSA recommendations that boosters start at 4 yo and 40 lbs. I looked on BRU and Target, some seats ARE available starting at 30 lbs (Evenflo Big Kid and Graco Turbo). Did anyone start using one for a 3 yr old who was only 30 lbs?

Re: Booster (Car) Seat question
I havent gotten it yet but I was looking into a booster seat for Emma who is 4 but she is only 35lbs. I was thinking of the Graco booster, the one that is like $30, since it has great ratings on the CR website.

3-in-1 Carseat
Karen, is that one a backless booster? I just weighed Lyla and she's only 28 lbs! So, either I have to keep switching her carseat to DH's car and wait until she's bigger to get a booster or get a convertible 3-in-1 carseat. Cosco, Safety 1st and Eddie Bauer make them, anyone have experience with these? They are all $150 and up. I looked at BRU, Walmart and Target online.

Re: Booster (Car) Seat question
I know for sure that my sister and my friend both had their sons in by 3 years old. Not sure of the weight though, but they are average size, so I'm assuming much less than 40 lbs.
