Boots in April?

I was working in NYC last week and noticed a lot of women (myself included) wearing leather boots still. I know it warmed up a little more since last week but I have to be in NYC again tomorrow and I hear it's supposed to get really cold again tomorrow night (like drop into the 30s! ).
Plus to be honest, boots are the only footwear comfortable enough for me to walk around nyc all day in. There isn't a pump on the planet that I can wear anymore it seems.
Will I look ridiculous in a boot in mid April?

I don't think so, since the temps are only going to be in the 50's.
I plan on wearing them later this week.
And in NYC anything goes

I wear my boots well into May and have even been seen in them later.

I just usually stick with my lighter brown ones.

OK I have a light tan pair...like a camel color.
I think I will wear them. Comfort should come first anyway right?

I'm wearing my black boots today. I tend to do comfort first cause of the commute. And today and this weekend I think were technically unseasonably warm.

When the weather changes you get all sorts of fashion though. I saw a man with a wool hat on this morning, a woman dressed in short skirt and tank top...all within 5 minutes of each other.

I wore boots last week. I'll wear them until I think its too warm.

So funny that you posted this b/c i was just going to come on and ask if i look dumb wearing a dress and brown boots.... i feel better knowing i am not alone!

I wore dresses & skirts with tall caramel colored boots last week. Since it was warmer, I skipped tights, so I figured the boots were enough to keep me warm in the cooler mornings/evenings.

Today I would have been too warm in them, but them (or the tights) may come back later in the week.

I have put mine away for the season BUT lots of women are still wearing them especially in the city.

I was out getting lunch a littel while ago and was laughing as one girl walked past me in a little summer dress and sandals and the woman across the street had a long puffer coat on. Two extremes and neither were appropriate for today IMO.

I wear them until the weather stays consistently warm.

I take all of my fashion tips from my students and they're still wearing them, so I think you're fine.

wear them! i think girls wearing flats when its FREEZING out or when its raining look ridic! boots on a day over 70 degrees, yea..not a good look. but its NYC..wear what you want. comfort is the most important thing

I'm still wearing my boots. I usually put them away by now but this year is definitely an exception. I hate having cold feet and I don't want to freeze in flats and no socks.

I'm in NC & it was 80 over the weekend BUT today is freezing. Literally! We were barely 30 over night & cold today, so I'm not being cold in barefoot flats. I wore my riding boots!

I keep my boots out until May. We will have rainy days (and chilly nights for a while). You won't look silly, especially considering it snowed a little last night

I normally think boots are done by now and switch to flats but I did wear them when it was so cold though.

I was wearing boots and sandals last week on different days.

The weather is still extremely bipolar.
