What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
I'm a pragmatist who's forward thinking and enviromentally and cost-conscious.
Every big decision I make is based on:
- does what I do increase my carbon footprint?
- am i making the most of my $$?
- what can i do to make myself or my family happier now and in the future?
- what do i want my tombstone to say?
- what good have I done lately?
Weird, I know... but this is what drives me.

Not follow the herd mentality pervasive in American culture.
Most decisions I've made in life were made because they were right for me, not because external influences pressured me (that includes my decision not to have kids, not watching crappy reality TV because the personal lives of celebrities dont interest me at all, and not blowing half my paycheck on stupid things like 10 Coach bags, Loboutin shoes, etc).

I hold my pen really oddly. Interestingly enough, DH holds his pen in the same odd manner.
My 5th grade math teacher told me I wouldn't get into high school because I held my pen so oddly.

If something is in fashion, I will probably be the only one (around me) not wearing/doing it.
I don't own a single expensive bag bc I know I can't afford it...rather pay bills with that kind of cash.

Love this!! I eat my chips ahoy like that. I break them into little pieces, put in a bowl and eat like cereal. Easier than dunking!

yep, I love when the cookies get mushy I just hate when my fingers smell like milk. PLUS this way ALL of the cookies gets exposed to Milk.

My peanut butter and jelly must be evenly spread from corner to corner of the bead. No difference in thickness anywhere on the bread or I must keep spreading.

I'm a righty but when I use a fork and knife, I place the knife in my left hand, not my right. I didn't even know that was "incorrect" until DH told me a couple of years back.

I'm pretty much the same way.
Except I have a kid!
But on that note, I don't feel the pressure to have more than one kid because society says so.
I also find that I buy things or wear things because *I* like them- and not becuase they are in style or whatever.
If I like it, it looks good on ME, I could care less what the trend is or how much it cost.
