Borgata in Ac

Just got back and wanted to post a mini quick review since I always see a lot of posts looking for AC info.

Room at borgata was very very nice - definitely within the price range they charge

Service - AWFUL - we had to wait ON LINE to check in (almost an hour I think) - I never had to do this anywhere and IMO if you are paying these prices they should do a little better. Overall, service stunk in every respect especially considering they charge ritz carlton prices - this was NO ritz carlton.

Restaurants - AWESOME - we ate at Old Homestead and the new Wolfgang Puck place - both fabulous food and great service

Casinos - AWESOME - but, I am not a big gambler so I really can't judge.

Also, the hotel is a little out of the way from the boardwalk so if you are looking to be on the "strip" this isn't the hotel for you. We ventured out a bit at night and during the day - the Tropicana and Caesars have new areas that are really nice with shopping and restaurants but I think overall the Borgata is still the most upscale (despite the bad service).

Overall, great time and great quick getaway!

I agree on the service-this was the worst service I've EVER had at a hotel. We waited 2 hours for extra towels and pillows and we were in a suite that cost $800.

Wow! I am suprised! We are going there next week for a few days during the week. We have never been their before! Glad the hotel & restaurants were good! At least I have that to look foward too! But thanks for the heads up! I will have DH check in!!
