Borrowing e-books from the library?
I am looking to get a e-reader or tablet. I have an I-Pad...for work...but need an e-reader for personal use. Is there one type that will let me borrow from the library compared to another?
Any suggestions? I like to read outside too and in bed!

Most books for e-readers are available in a lot of different formats. I have a kindle and have rented books for that, but I know you can rent them in different formats. HTH

I use the kindle app for my iPad and download books from Live-brary which Is where you can download free books from many (all ?) Suffolk libraries. It's great- though I do find that there is a waiting list for most books I know I want to look for. But it goes pretty quick.

Re: Borrowing e-books from the library?
Nassau you can now download any e-book to any device (though there are often waits for the popular books). I think the same is true for Suffolk libraries, though you would need to check.
The exception might be if your library has opted out of the Nassau or Suffolk Library Systems, not sure all libraries offer the same benefits.
