bosses with vacation
does your boss let her/his staff know when they'll be out. my boss never tells her staff that she'll be out. we have to ask the assistant supervisor if she'll be out

I keep my bosses calendar, so I always know when she is going to be out.
But I really dont give a rats patootie anymore.

My boss always lets me know in advance. He should I have his social security number, bank accounts & credit card numbers memorized. He doesn't want to pizz me off.

the big boss usually lets the management staff know then it's up to them if they want to let any of us little people know.
Heck I didnt know the manager was going to be traveling to Lima until 2 days after he got there

I always tell my staff when I am going on vacation. I have specific files that need to be looked after and worked on while I am away. To just pick up and leave is very unprofessional.

One of the bosses lets us know if he is going to be away (even if just upstate) the other boss...well let's just say we usually find out when he calls the secretary from the plane for her to do something for him!
