Boston Recs?
I'm heading to Boston this weekend for a last hurrah before my busy season... and they're getting a snowstorm. LOL. Yay! -___- I was looking for recs on "inside" things to do. We already decided we'll probably spend a day inside at the hotel and at the pool and were planning on the Museum and Quincy Market for another. Any other ideas on fun things that will keep us indoors for a while? (Two adults)

Re: Boston Recs?
the aquarium there's a children's museum I heard is fun
Most of the stuff we did was outdoors except for the science museum and aquarium. If it's not too bad take the freedom trail We also stopped in for a drink at Cheers. LOL Quincy market was PACKED when we went so we walked through. No seats at all

Boston Recs?
I live in Boston and we got absolutely slammed by the storm today - to the point where the harbor overflowed at high tide and small icebergs were floating down the city streets and i think the high temp on Saturday is only 7 degrees.... but i digress lol
Do you like museums? Museum of Fine Arts and Institute of Contemporary Art are both supposedly great. I'm not a museum person and haven't gone to either myself.
Shops at Prudential Center, which is attached to Copley Place, is quite nice for indoor shopping (in Back Bay). While you're there, you could have a drink at Top of the Hub. There are various places to eat including a newish bar/restaurant called Earls which i've been meaning to try.
Harpoon Brewery is a great option.
The aquarium like the PP said.
The Museum of Science (which is separate from the Children's Museum) - a lot of adults enjoy it - it's not just for kids!
It's definitely a tough time of year to visit!

Re: Boston Recs?
The Black Rose Pub is our favorite when we're in Boston. We were just there last week actually!! It's around the corner from Quincy Market.
The shopping is fun around Quincy Market but I don't get the hoopla about eating there, it's just a food court.
Eataly in the Back Bay area was awesome, don't go there hungry. LOL
The Boston Science Museum, Children's Museum and Aquarium are all great but we did them with our kids, if the kids weren't with us I don't think those would be as fun.
It's chilly but the North End (Little Italy) is so nice with lots of great places to eat. Check out Mike's Pastries for yummy desserts.
Boston is such an awesome city, we love it, but it's more enjoyable in the nicer weather. Boston Common, the Public Gardens, Back Bay shopping, the Freedom Trail etc are all awesome but so much better in the in other months. Have a great trip!!
