Where is the best place to eat in Boston?
We are staying at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.

Re: Boston Restaurants
The North End -- Lots of great restaurants....I will try to remember the names of a few...
Here's a link meanwhile - North End
Also Union Oyster House around the corner from Fanieul Hall - and in Fanuiel Hall there are lots of great food booths. Chinatown is very good too!

We were there last summer and we really enjoyed this place. It was reasonable too.

Re: Boston Restaurants
We stayed at the Park Plaze hotel and it was really nice. It was in a great location. I also recommend the North End for dinner and definintely try some seafood down near Faneial Hall.

Re: Boston Restaurants
You HAVE to go to the North End!! Delicious!! If you want a cheap, casual lunch I love this hole-in-the-wall place call The Pour House. It's on Boylston just across from the Prudential Mall. Well, across and a block down. It's funky and cheap. There are also little cafes and restaurants down Boylston and Newbury (a block parrallel to Boylston). There's a place called Stephanie's that has an amazing (though not too cheap) brunch. Don't know if you reservations. It's on Newbury.

Re: Boston Restaurants
We went to Boston in February. Unfortunately, we had a few bad meals and our hotel was under construction! However, we had a delicious meal at Limoncello in the north end!!!! We went to Sonsie a few times and had a few drinks at the bar. You should also have a drink (or dinner) in Top of the Hub in the Prudential building.

Re: Boston Restaurants
We stayed at that hotel...it was great! Two of our best meals were right by the hotel...McCormick and Shmicks which is right in the restaurant and Maggianos which is right across the street!

Re: Boston Restaurants
Ohhh! I almost forgot about The Barking Crab! It's very casual so don't wear your best. (considering you are flinging crab shells all around as you eat!)

Re: Boston Restaurants
I second the Pour House, although I would recommend breakfast (loads of food!) There is a cute Tapas place on Newbury, although I don't remember the name. Any outdoor place on Newbury will be beautiful this time of year. Enjoy! I miss it there!

Was it Tapeo? Mmmmmm.. I love Tapas bars. (I have to be careful to enunciate since it sounds like I say, "topless bars"!)

Re: Boston Restaurants
Possibly...I will ask my friend who still lives there. If you like Tapas, there is also another place very close to Harvard Square that was AWESOME - I'll find out the name of that also.
