Bottle ? for BF Moms
What type of bottles do you use for expressed BM? I'm going back to work next week and we have been giving him BM in a bottle. He guzzles it from the bottle and I think that its causing him to overeat. I've read that I should use a slow flow nipple, but I'm not sure which ones ae slow flow. I'm afraid he will run out of milk when I am at work if he is guzzling it.

I've been using dr. browns. the stage 1 nipples are slow flow. i just switched to stage 2 at 5 months. i think most bottle fed babies switch much sooner than that. i'd stick with the stage 1 nipples if you think he's getting the milk too fast. i also just tried the playtex ventaire bottles because ds doesn't really have a gas problem and the dr. browns are such a PITA with all the parts.

I use Dr. Browns also. I use stage 2 nipples.

Avent has slow flow nipples with various holes for the different ages. DD is only 3 weeks old, so we use the newborn nipples with one hole.

here too, we never made it to bigger than 2 either. He didn't mind, so I never switched

My milk just came in and I have only been bottle feeding for one day but these are bottles I am using for BM.
