Bottle size question
Ok, I am full of questions today....
I am debating on whether or not to buy 5oz baby bottles or 9 oz baby bottles. Kayla has been drinking 5 oz of formula for the last 2 months (she's 6 1/2 mths old) and sometimes doesnt even finish those.
Did you find that your child kind of "topped off" at a certain point or did they continue to increase the amt of formula/breast milk consumed?
We also started her on stage 2 baby food and cereal...so i dont even know if she will need the larger size bottles since she's eating solids now...
Suggestions? (sorry if this is a dumb question but I am so tired and sick my brain is fried and I need help)

Re: Bottle size question
I had a ton of 4 oz bottles and they were a waste (for me anyway). I moved to 8 oz bottles when she was around 8 weeks old. We are continuing to increase her formula as we see necessary and she's starting cereal next month.

Re: Bottle size question
Get the 8oz bottles just in case. She will eventually drink regular milk from them and probably will drink more than 5ozs.

Re: Bottle size question
My DD is 9 months old and we still use the playtex ventaires smaller size bottle. The numbers read up to 6 oz. but u can fill it to 7oz. My DD drinks about 6-7oz. during her feedings so the 6 oz. bottle is perfect for her. It all depends on your DC and the bottle brand. Some babies drink around 8 oz. at a time and others don't. Also some of the smaller types of bottles only go up to 4 or 5 oz. (Avent)
