anyway I have been using the bottled water, but I was wondering is it even better to boil it?

I would boil any water you use, especially since she has had such tummy problems.

My doctor said it's fine to not boil our water, but I do it anyway. Makes me feel better. I boil it, put it in a pitcher to cool, then make a day's worth of bottles.

Just remember, boiling doesn't get rid of lead, chlorine, chemicals, etc. It just kills living things that are in the water. It's still good killing whatever is living in there, but don't think that boiled water is "pure".

Keep a brita pitcher on the counter. I got the big one that has a spout. Put the water into a pyrex glass measuring cup and heat in microwave. Then prepare the bottle.

I would boil it (I always...until he was 9 months). They say bottled water is worse than tap water because it contains more bacteria.

We use the baby water, too. I read on the FDA website that bottled water is no good for babies under 3 mths of age. After 3 mths u can use bottled water if you want.

If u don't use baby water, boil whatever you use first.

Re: bottled water vs boiling it.

my ped specifically said NOT to use bottled water, as it is way less regulated than tap water is. he strongly suggested using filtered tap water, which is what we use.
