Bought Our Nursery Furniture Today!!
Went with mom and MIL to BRU and BBB.
First off, everything we heard about BRU customer service was true. They were horrible. The lady we spoke to was so negative and mean. We left immediately.
BBB was like a 100000% different experience. the people were so nice and the place was just so much better kept!! I decided I'm switching a lot of my registry items from BRU to BBB.
anyway back to the furniture!! Mom and MIL were beyond generous  . I wanted a cheaper crib that I saw on BRU.com and we all liked a much more expensive one at BBB, and they INSISTED on the one that was at BBB. They did get some hefty discounts with coupons though!!
I ended up getting the Baby Appleseed Davenport crib, the matching changer/dresser, and a glider!! And they are buying the mattress and paying for it to be assembled!!  I know they are splitting the shower too. I can't believe how generous they are being, it really makes me want to  !
So here is the crib:
I was a little wary at first cause Baby Bargains only gives this brand a C due to a 2008 recall. But I read the recall report online and it was because the lowest mattress height didn't match the new safety requirement for mattress heights and no injuries were reported as a result. So we agreed that that recall didn't make us feel the set was less safe, and it had all the other features we liked, so we got it!!
We also got the matching changer/dresser (not the hutch although maybe in the future):

I cant believe we got all that stuff!!
We also found an apartment recently that we are going to look at tomorrow. I am  that all of this comes together!!

We purchased the same set except we bought the tall chest and crib. We will get a separate changing table.
How long did they tell you it would take to come in?
We ordered ours in NJ and they told us back in the beginning of Feb. that the crib in that finish was backordered 14 weeks. I have no idea how long for the chest though and I forgot to ask.

they told us it will be in around june!! im due 7.1 so i hope its not much longer than that!! but even if it is i plan to keep  in our room for the first few weeks so it's not such a big deal.

Love it. I looke at their stuff online and that is my favorite crib it is kind of sleigh like which I love!
