Bought two new books today!!!
I'm not the best/fastest reader. Already renewed my library books once! And have a Laugh and Learn DVD on hold until tomorrow!
But I was at Target with my sis today and got Jenny McCarthy's Belly Laughs (because heard so many raves) and The Baby Name Wizard (figured I gotta get down to the knitty gritty!).
I'll give reviews when I'm done but the baby name book is cute so far! For the few I've looked up! Different than just the meanings books.

What exactly is the baby name wizard book?
Well I kind of grabbed it fast as an impulse buy so I cannot tell you exactly and I'd rather not type the whole forward but the cover says...
The Baby Name Wizard... A Magical Method for Finding the Perfect Name for Your Baby... With facts, trends, ideas, and thousands of enchanting names! by Laura Wattenberg.
It does have some reading parts, not just names. And it's not like the traditional name descriptions as in I'm Denise... the Godess of wine!
For example... assuming your name is Allison (ETA: Der... saw below that it is!)... the write up is...
Popularity: #45 Style: New Classics Nicknames: Allie, Ally Variants: Alison, Allyson, Alyson Sisters: Natalie, Erin, Andrea, Lauren, Danielle Brothers: Eric, Brian, Jared, Jonathan, Evan *Allison looks like a surname, but it has always been a girls given name. It started off centries ago as a nickname for Alice. Today, with its three popular spellings, it has left Alice in the dust and established itself as an American Classic.
Then it shows a little graph of the popularity peak through the years.
So the reading parts explain each catagory, like what each style means. And I'm assuming the Sisters and Brothers are suggestions of common name combos. I was just too tired to start reading today!
Maybe you can look it up on Amazon and they have a write up on it for more of an idea! It seems cute to me!
