Boutiques to buy Christening Gowns...
Really it doesnt even have to be a boutique -- I just know that a lot of boutique types of places sell Christening Gowns ...
We've already looked online and honestly couldn't find anything I liked except for one awesome dress that's not available in her size. We went to tri-county today and didn't like anything there either. We are going to check BRU but I'm wondering if there are any boutiques that people know if in the Levittown and vicinity area -- basically anywhere in Nassau would be OK.

Did you try the Sunrise Mall, LOBELS?
It's on the second floor, couple stores down from macy's. If you are coming from macy's it's on the right side.
I am pretty sure they have christening gowns there!

Which mall is the sunrise mall? Is that the one in Massapequa? I lived in suffolk my whole life and I still get confused about all of the MANY malls in nassau...

I know you wanted Nassau, but Zone 4 Kids in Lindenhurst has a whole wall dedicated to christening gowns. We went there to get my goddaughter's gown. It's located on Montauk Highway in the King Kullen shopping center.

Also Puddle Duck in Babylon village. It is a boutique store and they had some very nice gowns. It's easy to get to from the Southern State Pkwy, and not too far from Nassau.

Little Dickens in Selden has beautiful stuff...but is not cheap. I got my nephew's there years ago.

The best store I've ever gone into with such different styles and really unique gowns was Charlottes Kids in Massapequa. It's on Merrick Rd in the Southgate Shopping Center. I bought my youngest sons' christening suit and shoes and the gowns were just gorgeous and very different. There is also a place called Aprils in Bellmore but I've never gone.

Denny's is on South Oyster Bay Road in the Shoprite shopping center. They are great, but expensive!

We got Caidens at JcPenneys. They have a bunch of nice outfits for boys and girls. Good luck!
I also saw some at Baby Depot at Burlington.

Well we went to Charlotte's Kids and although they had BEAUTIFUL stuff a lot of the girls gowns were too alaborate and would be hot for a July Christening. They had two cotton gowns that we loved both -- but they didn't come with anything, and the similar ones we liked came with everything online. We're going to go to one or two more places and if we find the same situation we're just going to most likely order the Abigail one from onesmallchild.com

Wanted to share the a few of the dresses we saw in the store today that are actually available online for much cheaper that we are considering -- they just don't come with a slip and one would be necessary because the back of the gown is open.

Main Street in Sayville....the boutiques there have pretty ones. Also there is an irish shop in Rockville Centre(by the Fantasy Movie Theatre) that has nice stuff. BTW I ordered my daughters through Shepards Cradle.
