Boy is it quiet around here...
Hope everyone is doing allright. We are dtill waiting for Little Ryan to make his big journey. The house is still a wreck, but thats ok! Maybe to aupairs room will get done this week.
Lets hear what people are up to.

I was hoping to come on here and see good news from you, Jenn. Did you get that email from SC last week? I hope Ryan comes home next week. Still can't even guess when I'm gonna get the referral. It's been over 2 mos. since my homestudy's gone over to Korea. I"m hoping it'll be in 06. C'mon Baby Ryan...come home!
ETA: I can't believe you're number 2 on the travel list!!

Life is so hectic with two!!!Plus just moved into new house, have not sold the other yet, so life is a little stressful. But you girls are still on my mind.

I'm here...
just watching the rebuild of our house...
....flying to Florida on Friday to help my dad who is in a nursing facility and trying to figure out if we take him home w/ an Aid daily, or admit him to assisted living.
Got a promotion and a big $$ raise
and glad that we are not flying off to China now or in the coming months-to be honest---but am getting eager to decorate the bedroom for the baby---in November when we move back home we'll start with the painting.
a bit too much stress right now for me--

Well life in our house sure is hectic, but wonderful! Tiana has been home now for a month and a half and as I said, it feels like we've had her from birth. She is so much like me, it's amazing...I SWEAR she has my genes somewhere lol.
She is growing really quickly.. at a little over 6 months she is just over 16 lbs and 25.5 inches long. She is a happy little girl.. always smiling and laughing (unless she's hungry.. just like mommy lol). She's rolling over, sitting up on her own and starting to move herself around, but not quite crawling yet. She's eating her fruits and veggies and loves when I read to her and when I sing to her (luckily does not yet know the concept of "tone deaf").
It killed me to go back to work last week, but I know she is in good hands while I'm here (grandmas share babysitting).
