Boy Names
Which of the following is your favorite name? Keep in mind that my husband''s name is Joseph (he''s a third) so things might get a little confusing with another Joseph in the house, even with a different middle name. Thanks!

Re: Boy Names
ooo, love Dean!
I'm a big fan of boy's names that can't really be shortened.
Robert is usually Rob, Robby, Bob, Bobby, etc my brother is Joseph, and its Joe or Joey I always call FH Rich, but its Richard, etc.

Re: Boy Names

For a boy we are thinking either Daniel James or William James, if you like either of these.

Re: Boy Names
I'm still so confused. It's such a close poll. I honestly don't feel "inlove" with any of the names. I was so set on "JT" for Joseph Thomas but now everyone's saying it'll be dumb to have a "JJ" (nephew) and "JT." Also, no matter what, people will call him Joe and confuse matters so much with all the Joes in the family. I just don't know anymore. This is so hard!

What about Thomas Joseph then and call him TJ?

I can always count on you for your candor, Red.
Julz, we're trying to veer away from the initials. That's why we're probably not going to do Joseph Thomas, so "TJ" would not solve that problem. Joe doesn't like Thomas as a first name. He picked Dean. I'm not loving that either.
