Boys hip hop dance classes

DS just turned 7 and has been expressing an interest in taking dance classes. I found a dance studio by me called Starlite School of Dance that offers, what they call a fall session, but it runs from September all the way till June once a week which seems like a big commitment. He has three other sports he plays and religion too during the course of the school year and I don't want to burn him out plus what if he doesn't like it. I was hoping for a true fall session that would last maybe 6 to 10 weeks.
Anyone have experience with this or know of a studio in the Patchogue area that offers shorter sessions?

You're probably not going to find that during the school year. Dance studios work all year towards the recital in June.

You'd be better off waiting til next summer and looking for a shorter summer program.

Almost all, if not all, dance schools run the length of the school year starting in the fall, from Sept to May/June up to the recital.

Your best bet is to wait until next summer and check it out then, most school offer like a 6 week summer program.

My dance school (Stage Door in East Patchogue) runs the same way as most others with the recital in June, but we do have an all boys hip hop class during the summer (possibly during the school year as well).
