Boys quality summer shoes
I am looking at Keens though over 65-70 for shoes seems like a lot(x2)
Any other recommendations for good boys shoes for summer.

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
honestly, i like the carter's/osh kosh sandals they sell at bj's for like $12. sandals take a beating and have hot, stinky kid feet in them! these hold up really well!

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
I bought ones from target last year. Can't remember the price but I want to say they were $15-20. They were great.

I love See Kai Run brand. Search online, I found some great leather sandals for 18 bucks.

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
Funny you ask... I bought a cute pair of sandals a few weeks ago from Target for when we went to Aruba last week
THey were about $10 I didn't want to spend a fortune just in case he outgrew them by the time summer came. He wore them all week and they were great

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
DS had a pair of timberlands from the outlet last year and I'd love to get them again this year. They had a sneaker bottom, and a closed toe, but the top was open like a sandal. He was very comfortable in them and they could be worn with or without socks. They were under $25.
(yes, he's riding a metal goat @ the central park zoo. )

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
I used these for DS last summer. He wore them A LOT and they held up great. If he still fit into them, he could have wore them again this year.

I have no regrets having spent about $80 for a pair of Geox sandals for DS last summer. I wear Keens myself and those are also worth it.

Last year Sean had Crocs Converse and a pair of brown sandals from the Children's Place ........
The Crocs and Converse held up amazing -
The sandals were fine, but shot to sh*t by August

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
I bought a cross between sandals and sneakers at Stride Rite. Last year's pair smelled really bad before the end of the summer even though I used some type of odor eating spray. I bought a different pair from the Stride Rite outlet for this summer. The shoes are machine washable and I'm hoping that they'll hold up well.

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
I bought Keen's this year but I used a Groupon for Shoebacca and they came to 25.00. They were originally 50.00. Keep an eye out for deals like this!
Last year I had purchased sandal's from Kohl's and they did not make it through the summer.

Re: Boys quality summer shoes
keens for the last 3 years..never spent anything near that.
they are the best summer shoe. water, park, beach, pools.
are you a REI member? we shop there throughout the year and use our dividend check on them when they go on sale.
last, dh scored a barely worn pair on craigslist. they hold up so well.
