Boys winter clothes
I'm going through clothes and all I have is a few white long sleeves onesies. Every other onesie is short sleeved (white and shirt like onesies). Is there anything you do for boys clothes? At least for girls theres sweaters and cardigans and stuff. I feel like I will always have to keep him in sleep & play stretchies so he's covered for the first few months. Should I just buy more packages of white long sleeve onesies and put the short sleeve shirts on top like that layered look?

Re: Boys winter clothes
I didn't like long sleeve onesies. I can't remember all the reasons but part of it was that they are hard to take on and off during the early months when the baby is still a little bit floppy. My son was in those 1 piece stretchies for a really long time and that even became a joke among my LIF mom friends. He spit up a lot and those were easy to change. I got some nicer ones with collars or more conservative designs for when we went out. Even in his first summer, he wore shorts rompers a lot.

Re: Boys winter clothes
we never bundled ds up that much indoors... honestly, my house is heated and so unless we are going out he was in a long sleeve onsie and cotton pants or a sleep'n'play.... if we went out i would use a short sleeve onsie and have a long sleeve shirt on him... or i would have a dressier one piece outfit on with a onsie .. (i had a few one piece polos which i loved).
ds has never been a lover of being over dressed and would get over heated sooooo fast and even now at 15 months i cant keep socks on him, and half the time he is pants less... he doesnt sleep with a blanket and sleeps only with cotton pjs on

Re: Boys winter clothes
I bought a few of these one piece outfits and will prob just put a onsie underneath it when we go out in the cold weather and of course his fleece outerwear.
For staying in the house, I'll just keep him in a diaper & onsie since it's warm inside or just pj's. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Boys winter clothes
When DS was first born he lived in those fleece sleep & plays - just made things easier. Now he wears a lot of long sleeved onesies with pants. When we go out he's warm enough in the Bundle Me, but we still like to put on a fleece hoodie as a little jacket.
