Braces help
My son just got bottom braces on and he's been pretty uncomfortable since. The top was a breeze. He has no issues. He had the bottom put on and it's been so bad. He's hardly eaten. First couple days I get, but now he has a bunch of canker sores causing more problems.
I know he has the wax, but any other advise? Thanks

Re: Braces help
I gave my DD advil the first few days until she felt more comfortable Soft diet...yogurt, pudding, applesauce, mac n Cheese, mashed potatoes, oatmeal, etc. I'd ask the orthodontist if there is something he should be rinsing with for the canker sores.

Ditto and he will be hurting for years every time he gets an adjustment.

Braces help
My bottom braces were torture. I still have indents in my bottom lip from my braces that got removed in 1995. I used TONS of wax, that was the only thing that helped.
