Re: Brain Tumor Awareness
Good luck to you on this fundraiser! I lost my dear uncle to a brain tumor in December. I donated through the SouthEastern Brain Tumor Foundation which was his wish. I hope you recover 100%!!

Re: Brain Tumor Awareness
This is wonderful that you are doing this! I've participated the Have a Chance Walk for Brian Tumors the last two years and donated to Voices Against Brain Cancer (VABC) a foundation created in honor of my DH's friend from H.S. that lost his battle with brain cancer! All of us are doing what we can do raise awareness and its wonderful!
Good luck!

Re: Brain Tumor Awareness
Stephanie, I just wanted to tell you my sister's story. Like you, one day while she was at the gym, out of nowhere, she suffered a seizure. She had not had any symptoms prior to that time and was otherwise very healthy. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent brain surgery two days later. After the surgery, she underwent a course of chemotherapy.
Next month, she will celebrate her five year anniversary being cancer free. The diagnosis shook her and our whole family to the core, but know that as scary as it is, you can get through it.
Best of luck to you on your walk!
