Brandon's 4th Birthday Party (with pics !)
Saturday was Brandon's 4th birthday party ....We were so concerned about the weather since it was a backyard party with 60 adults/kiddies so we ended up renting a tent...Much to our surprise the weather held up and we were so happy that the kids actually got to play outside anyway !
DS picked a "Penguin" theme...which I found out is NOT easy to find decorations for  .....
First all the kiddies went on a penguin egg hunt to find the lost penguin...The winner of this contest was one of our very own Caden James  We hid 144 eggs in the yard and EVERY last one of them were recovered !
And it wouldn't be a penguin party without SNOW !
All the kids got to make their own snow from the real stuff that is used on ski-slopes This was a huge hit, they were like real little scientists
To stay with the frozen theme, we had a personal visit from the ice-cream man , who played the Happy Birthday song , gave everyone their choice of a frozen treat and gave Brandon his own tour of the truck !

Some games we played were "cold snowball" in lieu of hot-potato
And freeze dance on bubble wrap ice 
Alexa was pooped out from all the excitement
Next came the cake ( the penguin fishing was my DH's idea  )
     
And we finished the party off with a snowball fight ( although the snow didn't freeze long enough so it was more of a snow fight  )

All in all it was a great day ! Next week we get to go to Disney for his real

It was a great party! Abby had fun! The cake was adorable and I did notice the fish! You worked very hard to give Brandon a special day!
